Programme Objectives


To prepare middle leaders in educational services organizations, including NGOs, private agencies, government, corporate learning groups, schools and other human services organizations, with the organizational learning and design skills needed to effectively lead teams and innovative processes and enhance the professional learning of team members to meet organizational and team goals.


To equip middle leaders with the essential knowledge to achieve the above by critically examining the knowledge base on learning organizations and related concepts as derived from international and regional theory and practice (i.e., “Western” and “Eastern” wisdom) and applying them to devise contextually appropriate organizational leadership and learning strategies.


To respond to policy developments that emphasize the role of middle leaders in organizational and system improvement.
